Portal
A Portal is in effect a common gateway to information through which the various interested parties in a transaction can contribute and share information. In the case of Clients or institutions this will normally involve access to online case tracking, reports and the ability to update data held on a file. In the case of a conveyancer the portal will give access to applications to process the case. By adopting security based on the user profile many resources in a system can be shared while maintaining confidentiality and security. This allows the sharing of information between interested parties in a transaction or the sharing of the functionality of an application.

This is where we have devoted endless hours ensuring that all confidential data is completely secure and separate while items such as workflow procedures can be utilised by all users.
It is the portal structure that allows us to efficiently implement changes and effect innovations for all our users quickly and efficiently. It also allows the sharing of expensive hardware and people skills to the cost benefits of all our users.
The advantages of the portal are also evident in our system architecture. We have full off site back ups daily and the highest levels of security in place through our data centre managers. We also have back up hardware in place that can be switched on instantly in the event of a serious failure. These facilities are out with the reach of most firms with traditional system implementations.
